(50 days excluding travel days)<br>FOR WHOM: young people 18-30 y.o. from Latvia, EU or EU partner countries;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A TEAM: in total 20 youngsters, including young people with fewer opportunities and disabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>100 % ACCOMODATION, FOOD, PROGRAMME ARE COVERED BY CO-FINANCING OF EUROPEAN SOLIDARITY CORPS OF EUROPEAN UNION<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>100% TRAVEL EXPENCES WILL BE REIMBURSED AFTER PARTICIPATION IN THE PROJECT AND DISSEMINATION ACTIVITIES BY<br>PRESENTING ORGINAL TRAVELLING DOCUMENTS. COVERED TRAVEL LIMITS DEPEND ON YOUR DISTANCE FROM RIGA AND ARE CALCULATED ACCORDING TO ERASMUS DISTANCE CALCULATOR<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>NO ANY PARTICIPATION FEE<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-e850eeff-1fea-4f2f-8300-3a6abbc1e573\">WHO CAN PARTICIPATE:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-1bd3e534-638a-4003-bfc5-c617305f0942\">The project \u201cCount of May\u201d was created for active people who are interested in working with event organizing, performing, children, volunteering and helping people. Our organization always encourages volunteers to develop new activities, own initiatives and ideas as long as they are in the framework of the project. We require no specific skills, but happy to have flexible and creative people. Also, we do not require any professional qualifications, but rather interest and enthusiasm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-dc771142-cda5-4431-a575-0fa032494617\"><strong>We are searching for young people who:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-1f69fbaa-b9bb-4a3b-8346-ce2206359059\">\u2013 age 18-30 years at the first day of activity;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-a4716116-26cf-41a2-908e-2a5700b40bc5\">\u2013 are enthusiastic and energetic;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-46228f14-85c4-454b-8454-0546bd489b07\">\u2013 are eager to learn, enjoy working with youth and full of creative ideas;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-e871a9ff-9f0d-4a88-b1a4-76defc107397\">Strong organizational skills are considered very useful as the ability to communicate in English. In addition, people with singing, dancing, playing musical instruments skills are welcomed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-4239866d-893d-4fe5-8faf-d72dd40b1432\">Moreover, volunteers:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u2013 should be comfortable living on their own;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u2013 be able to adapt to new situations;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u2013 have good problem-solving skills;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u2013 work and live in the mixed groups of volunteers from different nationalities that will have their project at the same time at our organization.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-67ff70bc-96d5-4ecd-8462-07e02d604ec3\">Our organization may involve volunteers with fewer opportunities into the project and ready to accept such applicants with:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-b7e6b90c-abb6-464f-ad73-a1f419954ed3\">1) Economic obstacles;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-49fcbe94-ec28-41e9-a130-6154dd034efd\">2) Geographical obstacles;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-1ba15bcd-abe5-4418-8250-e0b1654f94e4\">3 )Educational difficulties<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4) health problems<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5) social obstacles<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-5fce16d8-1fc7-4562-8c5a-51501b420d20\">The project is inclusive and it is open for all interested people, who are under the demands of European Solidarity Corpse volunteering projects. The price of the city bus tickets is 2.00 EUR buying a ticket from bus driver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-389b2fef-8987-4df8-a8ac-54dcbe47df33\">ACCOMMODATION<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-9d838d9f-e1e0-47de-addc-6ccb2375c035\">There could be three possible variants of accommodation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-5f9f025f-af9c-4373-9d34-6dbc5bbc7fe8\">1. Volunteers will live in a shared apartment. This is an average modest flat which contains all necessary things for a living: a washing machine, a fridge, bed linen, kitchen utilities and kitchenware available for cooking, Wi-Fi router. Towel and stuff of personal use is volunteers\u2019 responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-622655ee-c005-4d82-bb32-5d479a1e1311\">2. Volunteers will live in a Students\u2019 campus with the shares rooms and common kitchen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-2da5e50e-e553-49f0-b1c3-1b424165430f\">3. Volunteers will live in a hosting family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-5ff8833a-ba36-477f-92ca-6dac9eea67ac\">WORKING CONDITIONS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-504f6321-4d5c-4acd-b48e-3219f94a8048\">In the office of our organization, there is a separate room where the volunteers may prepare for their activities, language clubs, etc. There is Wi-Fi there so if volunteers have a possibility we would recommend you to bring your laptop or a tablet for personal use. The activities themselves will take place in different locations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-e70f8c58-d493-4953-bcdc-509210fa76ee\">The first week after volunteers\u2019 arrival will be an adaptation week. Volunteers will see the place of work, get to know the people and the current volunteers, get acquaintance with people from the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-1952818a-fa7c-4ff3-8042-b222d2089073\">The working schedule is flexible but no more than 6,5 \u2013 8 working hours per day. If a volunteers are involved at weekends, they will get free days during the week. The volunteer\u2019s allowance is given every month in EUR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-db52f6ee-d125-4eda-a518-7550a9bb0a55\">COORDINATORS, MENTORS AND STAFF SUPPORT<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-d6f1bbb3-24aa-44e4-86cf-f16f874cddaf\">The project is financed by the Latvian NA. All general matters of the project will be followed by partner organizations involved in it. Count of May 2023&#8221; in RIGA<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>You will learn to work in an international team, organize large public events, communicate with people from different countries, find your place in the active part of society and bring joy and happiness to others with your activities<\/strong><br><br>WHAT: Volunteering Team project<br>WHERE: LATVIA, RIGA<br>WHEN: 09.04.-28.05.2022. Our organization always encourages volunteers to develop new activities, own initiatives and ideas as long as they are in the framework of the project. We require no specific skills, but happy to have flexible and creative people. Also, we do not require any professional qualifications, but rather interest and enthusiasm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-dc771142-cda5-4431-a575-0fa032494617\"><strong>We are searching for young people who:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-1f69fbaa-b9bb-4a3b-8346-ce2206359059\">\u2013 age 18-30 years at the first day of activity;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-a4716116-26cf-41a2-908e-2a5700b40bc5\">\u2013 are enthusiastic and energetic;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-46228f14-85c4-454b-8454-0546bd489b07\">\u2013 are eager to learn, enjoy working with youth and full of creative ideas;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-e871a9ff-9f0d-4a88-b1a4-76defc107397\">Strong organizational skills are considered very useful as the ability to communicate in English. The price of the city bus tickets is 2.00 EUR buying a ticket from bus driver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-389b2fef-8987-4df8-a8ac-54dcbe47df33\">ACCOMMODATION<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-9d838d9f-e1e0-47de-addc-6ccb2375c035\">There could be three possible variants of accommodation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-5f9f025f-af9c-4373-9d34-6dbc5bbc7fe8\">1. Volunteers will live in a shared apartment. This is an average modest flat which contains all necessary things for a living: a washing machine, a fridge, bed linen, kitchen utilities and kitchenware available for cooking, Wi-Fi router. Towel and stuff of personal use is volunteers\u2019 responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-622655ee-c005-4d82-bb32-5d479a1e1311\">2. Volunteers will live in a Students\u2019 campus with the shares rooms and common kitchen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-2da5e50e-e553-49f0-b1c3-1b424165430f\">3. Volunteers will see the place of work, get to know the people and the current volunteers, get acquaintance with people from the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-1952818a-fa7c-4ff3-8042-b222d2089073\">The working schedule is flexible but no more than 6,5 \u2013 8 working hours per day. If a volunteers are involved at weekends, they will get free days during the week.
