{"id":12918,"date":"2024-11-15T11:30:00","date_gmt":"2024-11-15T09:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/alternativa.lv\/?post_type=jetpack-portfolio&#038;p=12918"},"modified":"2025-03-15T11:38:05","modified_gmt":"2025-03-15T09:38:05","slug":"erasmus-partnership-building-activity-link-to-the-hope","status":"publish","type":"jetpack-portfolio","link":"https:\/\/alternativa.lv\/en\/portfolio\/erasmus-partnership-building-activity-link-to-the-hope\/","title":{"rendered":"Erasmus+ Partnership Building Activity &#8220;Link to the Hope&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>\ud83d\udcc5 <strong>Dates:<\/strong> March 3\u20138, 2025<br>\ud83d\udccd <strong>Location:<\/strong> Riga, Latvia<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>About the Project<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8220;Link to the Hope&#8221;<\/em> is an <strong>Erasmus+ Partnership Building Activity (PBA)<\/strong> that brings together <strong>youth workers, NGOs, and organizations from 9 countries<\/strong> to establish long-term collaborations in supporting <strong>refugee youth and young migrants, particularly those affected by conflicts in Palestine and other war-affected regions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This project provides a platform for organizations working in youth inclusion, education, and empowerment to <strong>exchange best practices, develop new Erasmus+ projects, and strengthen cooperation<\/strong> to better support war-affected youth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Goals<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\ud83c\udfd7 <strong>Build sustainable partnerships<\/strong> among organizations supporting refugee youth and migrants.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\ud83d\udcdd <strong>Develop Erasmus+ project proposals<\/strong> focused on the <strong>inclusion, education, and empowerment<\/strong> of refugee youth.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\ud83e\udd1d <strong>Promote European values<\/strong> such as solidarity, human dignity, equality, and intercultural dialogue.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\ud83c\udf93 <strong>Strengthen the capacity of youth workers and NGOs<\/strong> to address refugee and war-affected youth&#8217;s complex needs, including <strong>mental health support and cultural integration<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\ud83c\udf0d <strong>Raise awareness about the impact of conflicts on youth<\/strong> and develop meaningful projects to support their future opportunities in Europe and beyond.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Planned Outcomes<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2705 <strong>At least 3\u20134 detailed Erasmus+ project proposals<\/strong> will be developed by the end of the PBA.<br>\u2705 <strong>Creation of long-term partnerships<\/strong> among participating NGOs.<br>\u2705 <strong>Increased capacity of youth workers and organizations<\/strong> in working with refugee and migrant youth.<br>\u2705 <strong>Promotion of intercultural education, mental health support, and inclusion through sports, arts, and culture.<\/strong><br>\u2705 <strong>Development of follow-up action plans<\/strong> for sustained collaboration and future Erasmus+ applications.<br>\u2705 <strong>Youthpass certificates<\/strong> for participants to document their competencies and learning outcomes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Who Can Participate?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udd39 <strong>Participants:<\/strong> 4 representatives per country<br>\ud83d\udd39 <strong>Eligible countries:<\/strong> <strong>Latvia, Palestine, Jordan, Georgia, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Finland, Germany<\/strong><br>\ud83d\udd39 <strong>Profile of participants:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Must be <strong>members of partner organizations<\/strong> (youth workers, activists, or volunteers).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Interested in <strong>refugee inclusion, youth empowerment, and Erasmus+ project development<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Responsible for implementing the expected outcomes of the PBA, including <strong>developing partnership strategies and cooperation plans<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Preferably involved in <strong>strategic development or international collaboration<\/strong> in youth work.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must be <strong>18+ years old<\/strong> (no upper age limit).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Accommodation &amp; Logistics<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83c\udfe8 Participants will be hosted at <strong>Airport Hotel Mara<\/strong>, located 2 km from Riga International Airport and 7 km from Riga Old Town. Accommodation is in <strong>shared twin rooms (2 people per room)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83c\udf7d <strong>Meals<\/strong> (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) will be provided throughout the project. Participants with special dietary needs should inform organizers in advance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Travel &amp; Reimbursement<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2708 <strong>Arrival Date:<\/strong> March 3, 2025<br>\u2708 <strong>Departure Date:<\/strong> March 8, 2025<br>\ud83c\udf0d <strong>Participants can arrive up to 2 days before or leave up to 2 days after the project at their own expense.<\/strong><br>\ud83d\udcb0 <strong>Travel costs are covered 100%<\/strong> up to the following limits per participant:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul
