About the Project

“Link to the Hope” is an Erasmus+ Partnership Building Activity (PBA) that brings together youth workers, NGOs, and organizations from 9 countries to establish long-term collaborations in supporting refugee youth and young migrants, particularly those affected by conflicts in Palestine and other war-affected regions.

This project provides a platform for organizations working in youth inclusion, education, and empowerment to exchange best practices, develop new Erasmus+ projects, and strengthen cooperation to better support war-affected youth.

Goals

Planned Outcomes

At least 3–4 detailed Erasmus+ project proposals will be developed by the end of the PBA.
Creation of long-term partnerships among participating NGOs.
Increased capacity of youth workers and organizations in working with refugee and migrant youth.
Promotion of intercultural education, mental health support, and inclusion through sports, arts, and culture.
Development of follow-up action plans for sustained collaboration and future Erasmus+ applications.
Youthpass certificates for participants to document their competencies and learning outcomes.

Who Can Participate?

🔹 Participants: 4 representatives per country
🔹 Eligible countries: Latvia, Palestine, Jordan, Georgia, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Finland, Germany

Accommodation & Logistics

🏨 Participants will be hosted at Airport Hotel Mara, located 2 km from Riga International Airport and 7 km from Riga Old Town. Accommodation is in shared twin rooms (2 people per room).

🍽 Meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) will be provided throughout the project. Participants with special dietary needs should inform organizers in advance.

Travel & Reimbursement

Arrival Date: March 3, 2025
Departure Date: March 8, 2025
🌍 Participants can arrive up to 2 days before or leave up to 2 days after the project at their own expense.
💰 Travel costs are covered 100% up to the following limits per participant:
