Travel costs needs to be paid by participants first and after the project will be reimbursed by organiser: Alternatīvā Realitāte, Kultūras biedrība, Latvia
Who can participate?
Age limit: participants 16-27 y.o., group leaders 18+ with no age limit
Young people 16-27 y.o. residents of ES countries: Latvia, Cyprus, Hungary and Norway, including young people with fewer opportunities.
Each group is 6 participants (age limit 18-27 y.o.) + 1 group leader (18+) with no age limit.
Total in the each part project will be 29 participants including group leaders and accompanying persons.
AIM OF THE PROJECT
The goal of the project is to motivate young people to explore their creative and entrepreneurial talents to understand better and open their strong sides, talents, abilities what they can use in their future life, especially as creators and entrepreneurs for innovative start-ups. It also will help in European values promotion because topic of methods will closely connected with human rights and inclusion, and to strengthen a sense of initiative and active involvement in society among young people.
Project objectives:
- to stimulate youth self expression, discover talents and strong sides for using it in future life;
- to gain knowledge and understanding of human rights and social inclusion issues;
- to improve communication and entrepreneurship skills;
- to promote inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities through providing them opportunity to participate in the international youth project;
- to promote diversity, intercultural dialogue and tolerance between young people from different countries;
- to promote sense of initiative of young people through working on the solutions to the global issues and organizing own community actions;
- to promote international cooperation between youth organisations in the sphere of non-formal education of young people through working together on the international project.

As a main creative and positive method of learning we will use quest game-making method. Quest is an innovative method of learning, which consists of a set of different tasks to solve some specific problem. The quest allows to find a solution in an unusual, creative way, to see wider context of issue. The quest as a learning method contributes to a more intensive understanding of the topic, as it allows to see the task from an unusual angle and show imagination and various talents to find a solution.
28 young people from EU 4 countries will come together to explore such topic as a human rights and social inclusion through the quest method and will be encouraged to become active citizens.
As a result of the each youth exchange participants will create quest games as a learning method to explore such social topics as human rights and social inclusion in creative way.

APV visit in Agros, Cyprus: 28.02.-02.03.2020.
In APV will participate 1 group leader from each partner organization and also 1 youngster 18-27 y.o., participant of the Youth Exchange from each Partner organization, total 2 persons from each Partner organization. Group leaders are 18+ old with no age limit, they are chosen among active members of Partner organizations., related to the topic of the project.
Group leaders will be responsible to lead their national groups during both Youth Exchanges.
Groupleaders and participants in each national together will plan APV visit, share responsibilities for preparation of different elements of discussions. There will be participants, who will be responsible for communication with participants of others national groups for APV preparation, such as preparation of Partner Agreements, searching of local transports, resources, checking tickets, translations.

You have to buy ticket to reach Riga International Airport (RIX) or Riga Central Bus station at 1 day before project start date till 15:00. Please remember to get confirmation about your flight and ticket from project logistic manager Kristina before buying any tickets. If you buy any tickets without confirmation, this can be an object to non-reimbursement of your travel cost. Please send your travel plan to Kristina, email: alternativarealitate@gmail.com
We will provide a rental bus for transfer of the whole group from Riga to the venue and back. Cost of local transfer – 40 EUR (both ways) is included in your travel limits.

You have to buy ticket to reach Larnaca International Airport (LCA) day before YE start date till 16:00. Please remember to get confirmation about your flight and ticket from project coordinator.
We will provide a rental bus for transfer of the whole group from Larnaca to the venue and back. Cost of local transfer – 30 EUR (both ways) is included in your travel limits.
Before buying any tickets , please contact Project logistic Kristina at email: alternativarealitate@gmail.com and provide her information about your group travel plans (means, place of arrival, timing, prices).
Please buy tickets only after confirmation of Project Coordinator. Also we ask you to choose more cheapest ways for travelling. Non-confirmed tickets are subject of no reimbursement.
TRAVEL REIMBURSEMENT
Reimbursement of the travel costs will be initiated after the coordinating organization receives all the original tickets of any kind means of transportation, receipts, boarding passes, etc. not exceeding travel budget for each participation country.
PLEASE DOWNLOAD ALL YOUR ELECTRONIC BOARDING PASSES TO YOUR EMAILS! YOU ARE OBLIGED TO SEND ALL ORIGINAL TRAVEL DOCUMENTS TO ORGANIZERS DURING 15 days (POST STAMP OR EMAIL DATE) AFTER THE PROJECT, OTHERWISE YOU WILL NOT BE REIMBURSED.
Copies of travelling documents are not acceptable and non-reimbursable.
Flight tickets must be in economy class, business class tickets are not acceptable. Please note, taxi expenses are not covered and reimbursed.
Furthermore, participants are required to submit the compulsory survey by the European Commission in order to have the right to get the reimbursement of the travel and visa costs.

HEALTH INSURANCE
Health insurance will be provided or reimbursed by the coordinating organization.
All participants are required to get valid health and travel insurance for Youth Exchange period including travel days.
If you live in an EU country and use a national health insurance system there, please apply for a FREE European Health Insurance Card.

LŪZNAVA, LATVIA
Latvia (/ˈlɑːtviə/ or /ˈlætviə/ (listen); Latvian: Latvija[ˈlatvija], Livonian: Lețmō), officially known as the Republic of Latvia (Latvian: Latvijas Republika, Livonian: Lețmō Vabāmō), is a country in the Baltic region of Northern Europe.[13] Since its independence, Latvia has been referred to as one of the Baltic states. It is bordered by Estonia to the north, Lithuania to the south, Russia to the east, Belarus to the southeast. Latvia has 1,957,200 inhabitants and a territory of 64,589 km2. The country has a temperate seasonal climate. The Baltic Sea moderates climate, although it has four distinct seasons and snowy winters.
VENUE
Lūznava (formerly Dlužņeva, Glužņeva) is a village located approximately 230 kilometers from Riga and is the central location of Lūznava parish, Rēzekne municipality, Latvia. It has famous Luznavas Manor (Lūznavas muiža) – renovated historical place built in 19 century.

Our venue is modern quest house SVILPAUNIEKI near the Luznava manor, where most session of the project will be implemented. We have modern equipped rooms, participants will live by 3-4 persons in the rooms with shared bathrooms, by gender.
Youth Exchange in Cyprus
AGROS, CYPRUS
Cyprus (/saɪprəs/ , officially the Republic of Cyprus , is an island country in the Eastern Mediterranean and the third-largest and third-most populous island in the Mediterranean, located south of Turkey, west of Syria and Lebanon, north of Israel, and Egypt, and southeast of Greece. Cyprus is a major tourist destination in the Mediterranean. Thousands of years of ancient history and civilization makes Cyprus for one of the most interesting places in South Europe.

Agros (Greek: Αγρός) is a village built on the Troödos Mountains, in the region of Pitsilia, in southwest Cyprus, which has built amphitheatrically among high mountains at an altitude of 1100 metres with a population of approximately 1,000.
Agros is one of the most interesting villages of Cyprus and the Pitsilia area. The village is located 45 minutes away from the cities of Nicosia and Limassol, 20 minutes from Troodos Square and 80 minutes from the international airports of Larnaca and Paphos.
Participants will live in Youth Hostel in the center of Agros by 3 persons per rooms with shared facilities at the each floor.
IMPORTANT!
Please note Cyprus has a left-side roads. So always choose a bus stop from the left side of the road.
PROGRAMME
PROGRAMME OF THE PROJECT IS FLEXIBLE AND IS SUBJECT TO DISCUSS AMONG THE PARTNERS DURING APV. Dayly schedule will be added soon.

WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU
“Standard youth exchange equipment pack”:
an alarm clock, any dictionaries you might require, music, musical instruments, comfortable clothes, personal first aid kit, swimming suite, personal hygiene stuff – shampoons and shower gels, bath towels, hairdryers etc;
Plugs: the type of the plugs in Cyprus is English plugs. Make sure that you have adapters for your electrical devises.
EACH NATIONAL GROUP HAS TO TAKE AT LEAST ONE NOTEBOOK/LAPTOP FOR WORKING ON PROJECT RESULTS!
