Mandarine Land: A tale of the stolen time Is already here
The magical time of Christmas is coming!
Candles are shining on the windows, there are a lot of decorated Christmas trees on the streets. The Christmas story: “Mandarine Land: A tale of the stolen time” will soon come to live.
Due to the state of emergency in the country and the restrictions of holding public events, we decided that it would be unfair to deprive children of the miracle and Christmas.
That is why this year we, Culture Association “Alternate Reality”, will make the Christmas event safe for everyone. The Christmas tale will be held remotely using the ZOOM app.
Despite the difficult situation in the country, we cannot afford to steal Christmas from children. Our team of volunteers-wizards from Latvia and other countries such as Cyprus, Georgia, Morocco have adapted the entertainment for the videoconference format so it will allow everyone to take part in the creation of a Christmas.
Since 2013, the Cultural Association “Alternative Reality” has been implementing its own idea – a social project for the development of children “MandarineLand”. Within the project, with the help of volunteers, a series of events is held every year for children aimed at promoting the social integration of children from socially vulnerable groups, regardless of social status, nationality or other affiliation.
In December of each year, we organize a series of Christmas events in which at least 300 children from orphanages, crisis centers, low-income families take part.
This year we will create magic in orphanages, boarding schools and schools for more than 300 children. Our elves have prepared gifts for each wizard who will create Christmas with us.
