Civil society network building learning
The team from the Latvian NGO “Culture Association ‘Alternative Reality'” successfully completed a valuable training course on networking skills and youth project management, funded by the Active Citizen Fund Capacity project “A Step to the Future.” Over three intensive days, led by expert Jorgen Jenssen from Norway, we gained knowledge and skills in creating networks and effective project management related to youth and working with young people.
The non-governmental organization “Creatorium,” represented by Jorgen Jenssen, has been involved in youth work and creating organizational networks in Norway for over seven years, which collectively address issues and challenges in the field of youth work and civil society. The Norwegian organization “Creatorium” is our partner in the project “A Step to the Future,” and their participation helps strengthen our organization’s capacity and growth on an international scale.
These trainings are particularly significant not only for the core team but also for our new NGO members. They provided not only practical skills for successful project management but also the opportunity to expand their personal and professional skills, learning to create valuable partnerships and take on leadership in youth projects. These skills enrich their professional development and enhance their competitiveness in the job market by giving them confidence in implementing ideas and goals. With these skills, young leaders can not only successfully implement positive changes in society but also effectively execute significant projects in the field of youth work, significantly increasing and improving the organization’s capacity.
