APV visit for youth exchange “Quest-the best!”

UPD: Due to Coronavirus pandemia youth exchange in Cyprus is postponed to September 29 – October 8, 2020

Very soon, at 20.-29.April in Agros (Cyprus) will take place the first youth exchange in the frame of Erasmus+ project “Quest of the best!”.

In order to do everything successfully, in an efficient and effective way, the group leaders and their assistants – young participants from 4 countries came together, and discussed about all of the important issues related to the project organization and implementation.

The project is represented by a very experienced organisations in Erasmus+ field, such as Youth Dynamics (Cyprus), which has over 60 Erasmus+ projects, the Európa Ifjúsága Egyesület (Hungary), the Cultural association “Alternative Reality” (Latvia), and a fairly new organisation from Sweden “System&G, SE”. So during the APV meeting we also shared our experiences with new partners about the best draft of the implementing method.

During the Advanced Planning Visit all Partners discussed about such important things as program, facilitating, responsibilities, accomodation, safety etc. Additionally was organized trip to Nicosia to see a capital of Cyprus and North territory occupied by Turkish. We found new friends and great partners and we hope this project will be really great for all of us.

Very soon, in the mountain village Agros in the heart of Cyprus, we will see 28 young participants from the 4 countries together. We will learn about non-standard solutions to perceived social topics such as human rights, and with non-formal method of education like quest-game making we will explore our creativity, entrepreneurship, critical thinking.

The Project has led to the expectation of the participants in the 3 different quest games, related to human rights, and for implementing them for the local children, but on returning home, also for the young people in their own countries.

The quest game is a great base of a training method, which is driven by both the critical and creative thinking, and the future may be to help the young people even start their own business, being associated with the topic.
