Aim: The PDA activity “OUR FUTURE STARTS TODAY” aims to expand the understanding of youth leaders, youth workers, and young people regarding the interaction of global societal issues that impact society’s development, with a particular focus on youth development.
Grounded in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the European Union (EU) Youth Goals, the project aims to jointly create new effective long-term pathways for expanding the network of youth work. It specifically targets to create a non-formal methods to support young people with fewer opportunities, including young migrants, refugees, minorities, and youngsters in rural areas, supporting them in determining their future at both personal and societal levels.
Through the implementation of this project, youth workers and leaders will be equipped with a deeper understanding of the interplay between global societal issues, SDGs, and EU Youth Goals and will see issues on practical level in local community of rural area. This knowledge will enable them to guide young people in developing their personal development strategies while considering the broader challenges and opportunities in the world. By promoting active citizenship, participation, and inclusivity, the project contributes to the creation of a sustainable, inclusive, and equitable society based on European values and identity.
